What is Splitfast?
Splitfast (also searched for as Split Fast) helps groups track shared expenses and see who owes whom. This is the official Splitfast website.
Who is Splitfast for?
Splitfast is for roommates, travel groups, friends, families, teams, and anyone who needs a clear record of shared expenses.
Do group members need to install an app?
No. You can use Splitfast in your browser or install it as an app on supported phones and computers. Open Settings, then What's new for installation instructions. An internet connection is required.
Can I split expenses unevenly?
Yes. Choose who paid and split a transaction by percentage or by monetary amount. Splitfast distributes the remaining share among members whose values you have not edited.
Does Splitfast move money?
No. Splitfast tracks balances and settlement status. Groups still send money through their preferred payment method outside Splitfast.
What does the free trial include?
The free trial includes all Splitfast features, including unlimited groups, shared expense tracking, balances, and mobile access.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can cancel from Settings. Your account becomes read-only when the subscription is no longer active, so your historical records remain available.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Open Settings, then Your data to download a ZIP containing a JSON file and a README explaining it. Email addresses are excluded. Export is available even without an active subscription.
How much does Splitfast cost?
$2 USD per month or $20 USD per year. Both plans include all features. New accounts get a one-month free trial.
