This policy explains what information Splitfast collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run and improve the product.
1. Information we collect
We collect account information, group membership, expense records, subscription status, feedback submissions, and support messages. If you consent to analytics, Google Analytics also collects usage data such as page views, traffic sources, device/browser information, and approximate location. If you consent to marketing, advertising providers may collect page visits, ad click identifiers, and sign-up or subscription events.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide shared-expense tracking, calculate balances, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, improve onboarding, measure advertising effectiveness when permitted, prevent abuse, and maintain the security and reliability of Splitfast.
3. Service providers
We use trusted providers for hosting, email delivery, file storage, payments, analytics, advertising measurement, and operational tooling. Stripe processes payment details, Google Analytics helps us understand product usage, and, when marketing tools are enabled with your consent, Google Ads and Meta help us measure and improve advertising. Splitfast does not store full card numbers.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the feedback form from automated abuse. It processes browser and network signals for verification, not the contents of your feedback.
4. Data retention
We keep account, group, billing, and feedback data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain backups. You can request account or data deletion by contacting support.
5. Your choices
You can accept, reject, or change your analytics and marketing choices at any time using the Privacy choices link in the footer. You can also update profile information, cancel your subscription, stop using the service, or contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Splitfast data. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and protect your account.
