This policy explains what information Splitfast collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run and improve the product.

1. Information we collect

We collect account information, group membership, expense records, subscription status, feedback submissions, and support messages. If you consent to analytics, Google Analytics also collects usage data such as page views, traffic sources, device/browser information, and approximate location.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide shared-expense tracking, calculate balances, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, improve onboarding, prevent abuse, and maintain the security and reliability of Splitfast.

3. Service providers

We use trusted providers for hosting, email delivery, file storage, payments, analytics, and operational tooling. Stripe processes payment details, Google Analytics helps us understand product usage, and Splitfast does not store full card numbers.

4. Data retention

We keep account, group, billing, and feedback data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain backups. You can request account or data deletion by contacting support.

5. Your choices

You can accept, decline, or change your analytics preference at any time using the Analytics preferences link in the footer. You can also update profile information, cancel your subscription, stop using the service, or contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Splitfast data. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and protect your account.
